These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Paddock Paws Mandalong (PPM).
By making a booking or placing your dog in our care, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined below.
PPM operates from Mandalong, New South Wales, Australia.

Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern all services provided by PPM including daycare,
boarding, enrichment activities and related pet care services.
By using our services, submitting a booking request, or leaving your dog in our care, you
agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not proceed with booking
services.
Services Provided
PPM offers a range of supervised care services for dogs which may include:
daycare
overnight boarding
exercise and enrichment activities
medication administration
hygiene or grooming services
All services are subject to availability and suitability of the dog within the facility
environment.
PPM reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services where necessary to maintain the
safety and wellbeing of staff, animals, and clients.
Accounts
By creating an account on our website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age
and that all information provided is accurate, complete, and kept up to date. PPM reserves
the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information is found to be inaccurate,
incomplete, or outdated.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details, including
your password, and for restricting access to your account and devices. You must notify us
immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account or any security
breach.
PPM reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion at any time.
You may request to close your account by contacting us.
Pricing and Payments
Pricing for services may vary depending on:
duration of stay
individual care requirements
seasonal demand
additional services requested
Quotes may be provided after assessing your dog’s needs.
Payment must be made using one of the accepted payment methods available at the time of booking. These may include bank transfer, card payment or cash.
PPM reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time. Updated pricing will apply to future bookings.
Vaccination Requirements
For the safety of all dogs within the facility, dogs attending daycare or boarding must have a current C5 vaccination.
Proof of vaccination must be provided before a dog’s first visit or at check-in. Vaccinations should ideally be administered at least 14 days prior to attendance to ensure adequate immunity.
Dogs arriving without valid vaccination records may be refused entry.
Parasite, Flea and Tick Prevention
Owners must ensure their dog is treated for fleas, ticks and intestinal parasites prior to
attending daycare or boarding.
Due to the presence of paralysis ticks in parts of New South Wales, appropriate tick
prevention is strongly recommended.
If parasites are identified while a dog is in the care of PPM:
appropriate treatment may be administered
all treatment costs will be the responsibility of the owner
While reasonable precautions are taken, PPM cannot guarantee that pets will not be
exposed to parasites while attending daycare or boarding.
Health and Behavior Disclosure
Owners must disclose any known health conditions, behavioural issues, or previous
incidents that may affect their dog’s participation in daycare or boarding.
This includes but is not limited to:
aggressive behaviour toward dogs or humans
anxiety or separation distress
previous bite incidents
injuries or medical conditions
behavioural reactivity
history of escaping eg. Jumping fences
Failure to disclose relevant information may result in cancellation of services.
Trial Day and Temperament Assessment
New dogs are required to complete a paid trial assessment before being accepted for
regular daycare or boarding services.
This assessment allows staff to evaluate:
behaviour around other dogs
play style and social interaction
stress levels in a daycare environment
PPM reserves the right to determine whether a dog is suitable for group daycare.
If a dog is considered unsuitable, ongoing services may be declined.
Entire (Non-Desexed) Dogs
Female dogs in season cannot attend daycare or boarding under any circumstan
Owners must notify PPM if their dog enters a heat cycle before a scheduled booking.
Entire (non-desexed) dogs may be assessed individually. PPM reserves the right to refuse attendance where behaviour or group dynamics create safety concerns.
PPM does not accept entire dogs over 10 months of age.
Veterinary Care
If a dog becomes sick or injured while in our care, PPM may arrange veterinary treatment
where necessary. Where possible, the owner will be contacted prior to treatment.
By using our services, the owner authorises PPM to seek veterinary care if required and
agrees to pay all associated costs including:
consultation fees
medication and treatment
emergency services
transport to the veterinary clinic
Liability Waiver and Assumption of Risk
Dog daycare and boarding environments involve inherent risks due to the nature of animal behaviour and social interaction.
These risks may include:
minor injuries from play
scratches or bites
illness transmission
behavioural stress
changes in appetite, mood or coat condition
By placing a dog in the care of PPM, the owner acknowledges and accepts these risks.
To the extent permitted by law, PPM, its owners and staff are not liable for injury, illness,
loss or death of a dog except where directly caused by proven gross negligence.
Indemnity
The owner agrees to indemnify and hold harmless PPM, its staff and representatives from any claims, damages, losses or legal expenses resulting from:
the behaviour of the owner’s dog
injury or damage caused by the dog
inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the owner
Medication and Special Care
Dogs requiring medication or specialised care may incur additional charges.
Owners must provide clear written instructions for all medications including dosage and frequency.
While staff will make reasonable efforts to administer medication correctly, PPM cannot guarantee against missed doses or unexpected reactions.
Food and Personal Belongings
PPM provides bedding, toys and quality food for dogs staying at the facility.
Owner-supplied food must be clearly labelled and accompanied by feeding instructions.
Personal items such as beds, toys or blankets are left at the owner’s risk. PPM is not responsible for loss or damage to these items.
Late Collection/ Outside of Hours Charge
All boarding dogs must arrive or depart within the hours of 9:30-10:30 AM & 4-5 PM (7 days a week).
All daycare dogs must arrive between 7:30-9:30 AM and depart within the hours of 3-6 PM.
A $40 outside of hours charge may apply to any pick up or drop offs outside of the above hours.
Dogs not collected by closing time may remain overnight and standard boarding fees may apply.
Boarding Bookings
Boarding services are charged on a per calendar day basis at $70 per day, regardless of check-in or check out time.
Deposits may be required to secure bookings, particularly during peak holiday periods.
Remaining balances must be paid in full on arrival unless otherwise agreed.
Boarding Cancellations
Cancellation policies may vary depending on the notice period and season.
Deposits may be converted to account credit where sufficient notice is provided.
If a dog is to be picked up earlier than its agreed pick up date a credit may be applied to the account.
Credits remain valid for 12 months unless otherwise stated.
Senior Dogs (9 Years and Over) & Medical Conditions
For dogs aged 9 years and over, and/or those with known medical conditions:
The owner acknowledges that my dog’s age and/or existing medical conditions may increase the risk of health-related incidents while in care.
The owner understands that age-related or medical events may occur, and release PPM from liability in the unfortunate event of illness, deterioration, or passing that is reasonably related to the dog’s age or pre-existing condition.
The owner accepts full financial responsibility for any care or treatment provided during the dog’s stay, including treatment for both known and previously undiagnosed conditions.
Loss, Injury, or Death of Dogs in Care
Owners acknowledge that, despite all precautions, there is a small risk of injury, illness, or loss of a dog while in the care of PPM.
By enrolling or boarding their dog, the owner agrees that PPM, its owners, staff, and representatives are not liable for any loss, injury, or death, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Owners remain financially responsible for all veterinary care, emergency treatment, or associated costs if their dog is injured or becomes ill while in PPM’s care.
Photography and Media
PPM may take photos or videos of dogs while in our care for:
owner updates
operational records
promotional content
Dogs may appear in social media or marketing materials. Only the dog’s first name may be used.
Owners who do not wish their dog to appear in promotional media must notify PPM in writing prior to their dog’s stay.
Uncollected Dogs
If a dog is not collected within 7 days of the agreed pickup date and the owner cannot be contacted and/or is not willing to collect the dog within 7 days after contact, the dog may be considered abandoned.
PPM may arrange appropriate rehoming and/or take action to recover outstanding fees.
Dog Bite & Injury Responsibility
The owner accepts full responsibility for any injury, damage, or loss caused by their dog
while attending PPM. This includes, but is not limited to, injury to other dogs, staff, visitors, or property.
The owner agrees to indemnify and hold harmless PPM, its owners, employees, and
representatives from any claims, costs, veterinary expenses, or legal liabilities resulting
from their dog’s actions.
Contagious Illness & Disease Waiver
The owner acknowledges that, despite all reasonable precautions, dogs attending PPM may be exposed to contagious illnesses, parasites, or diseases (e.g. kennel cough, fleas, ticks, or other infections).
By using PPM services, the owner accepts the risk of exposure and agrees that PPM, its
owners, staff, and representatives are not liable for any illness, injury, or loss resulting
from such exposure.
The owner further agrees to notify PPM of any known contagious conditions their dog may have prior to attendance.
Website Information
Information provided on any PPM website or promotional material is intended for general guidance and may change without notice.
PPM is not responsible for inaccuracies, technical issues, or temporary service interruptions.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under Australian law, PPM is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of its services or website.
Where liability is established, it will be limited to the amount paid for the relevant service.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Any disputes arising from these terms will be handled within the courts of New South Wales.
Changes to Terms
PPM reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
PPM will not notify you of any changes made. The most recent version will apply to all bookings and services.
